On your first visit, we will perform a complete neurological, orthopedic, and physical examination to properly understand your current state of health. We use precision x-ray imaging to capture specialized films of the upper cervical spine. This ensures the highest level of specificity and correction for your Chiropractic adjustment. We will also analyze the function of your nerve system with an advanced temperature differential analysis unit to measure nerve dysfunction at the level of the brainstem. We call our unit “the scanner” because we scan the person’s neck to detect temperature differences along the spine. It’s important not to ingest, within two hours from your appointment time, any stimulants–such as caffeine, chocolate, nicotine–foods, or medications. This will ensure the most accurate nerve scans be obtained on the first visit. At the end of the first visit, which lasts about an hour to an hour & a half, we will schedule a follow-up appointment. The second appointment is when we will cover all of the results from the examination, films & nerve scan analysis, and the care plan we recommend to get you the results you desire.
Beyond the First Visit at CFTH
As often as possible, do not ingest, within two hours from your appointment time, any stimulants–such as caffeine, chocolate, nicotine–foods, or medications. This will ensure the most accurate nerve scans be obtained. When you arrive at CFTH, you’ll be greeted with a friendly face & invited to relax in the Great Room where your body will acclimate to the temperature of the room for about 10 minutes. We’ll then scan your neck with “the scanner” to detect if nerve interference is present and require you to be adjusted. We may scan the neck a couple of times to ensure a correction is necessary. It is absolutely vital to know when & when not to make a correction. After you are adjusted, you will immediately follow up with a post-correction integration period where you will rest in office in one of our state-of-the-art Zero Gravity Chairs for a period of time from 15 minutes (or more if a person’s health condition requires it). Once you have rested, we rescan the neck to ensure the correction was made. Regularly scheduled office visits take between 15-30 minutes.
