Upper Cervical Chiropractic Benefits for Children

Whether as an infant, child, teenager, or adult, all people experience physical traumas at some point in their lives. Their first trauma is often child birth. As they begin to crawl and walk, they often fall and hit their head. As they become more coordinated they begin to run, jump, bike, skate board, etc. With age comes responsibility such as jobs, gardening, house cleaning, etc. all of which lead to greater traumas and physical forces entering their bodies when people have accidents. All of these traumas and physical forces have the potential to cause misalignments of their spine and cause nerve system dysfunction (subluxation). As we progress in life, these subluxations, if allowed to remain unchecked or not corrected (the chiropractic adjustment), can produce long term nerve interference leading to major health consequences. Regardless of a person’s phase in life or existing health conditions, this interference can be detected and corrected!

Each person is born with an incredible intelligence and abundance of life force capable of providing health and wellness for a lifetime. The body needs no help achieving health as long as there is no interference communicating the message of health to the entire body. Chiropractors do not treat diseases; they help correct subluxations (spinal misalignments) that can cause health problems. Common childhood conditions that have improved with upper cervical chiropractic care include: ADD, ADHD, allergies, asthma, colic, common cold, earaches, enuresis (bedwetting), growing pains, headaches, insomnia, neck pain, back pain, respiratory problems, and persistent crying infants. Whether your child is sick, has recently suffered from a physical injury or accident, or you would like to have a check up of their nervous system, please call for a free consultation. Your children are, very often, the most important people in your lives. Their health and wellbeing is important to our future.
